Our meetings take place the second Tuesday of the month, March through December, at 6:30 pm, usually a dinner meeting.
Programs for 2021 include Moria Brady and Michigan C.A.R., Women of the War, The Holocaust, DAR Good Citizen Awards, A Michigan Polar Bear Confronts the Bolsheviks, VE Day/Victory in Europe 1945, and more.
Membership in the DAR is possible for any woman 18 years of age or older who can prove lineal, bloodline descent from an ancestor who aided in achieving American independence. She must provide documentation for each statement of birth, marriage, and death as well as of the Revolutionary War Service of her patriot ancestor. A patriot may have contributed to the cause by providing material aid and supplies for the troops as well as military service.
